صحيفة المرصد: كشف المتحدث باسم هيئة الأرصاد الجوية، حسين القحطاني، عن تفاصيل الحالة الجوية التي تشهدها المملكة خلال هذه الفترة.
وقال القحطاني، في مداخلة هاتفية عبر قناة السعودية: "نحن في أجواء فترة الصيف أرصاديًا، ودرجات الحراة بدأت في الارتفاع المبكر، أو الموجات الحارة التي بدأت تؤثر على المملكة، فهذه هي الموجة الثانية".
وأضاف: "الموجة الأولى في فصل الصيف، والثانية خلال الشهر الحالي، ودرجات الحراة ترتفع بشكل كبير، نتوقع أن نسجل الـ 49 درجة مئوية، على بعض مناطق المملكة الشرقية، وهي أكثر المناطق تأثرًا بارتفاع درجات الحرارة في فصل الصيف".
وتابع: "نتوقع أن تستمر هذه الحالة وفقًا لتقرير المركز الوطني للأرصاد، وأن تبقى درجات الحرارة فيما بعد في معدلاتها في فصل الصيف، ما بين الـ 38 إلى 48 درجة".
واختتم حديثه: "فيما يتعلق بالانقلاب الصيفي في 21 يونيو، هو دخول فصل الصيف فلكيًا، فأجواء المملكة الآن حارة، وتتكون السحب الركامية الممطرة".
