وكشف النزلاء عن إجبارهم على شراء المخدرات والهواتف النقالة بمبلغ مليون ونصف المليون دينار عراقي أي نحو "1025 دولارا أميركيا".

من جهته، قرر وزير العدل العراقي خالد شواني إعفاء مدير سجن التاجي ومعاونيه وعدد من المسؤولين في السجن على خلفية التحقيقات في المقطع.
