صحيفة المرصد: علق الشاب المصري زوج العجوز البريطانية آيريس جونز، على نبأ وفاتها الذي تداولته مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، والتبرع بثروتها للجمعيات الخيرية.
وقال بعض رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، أن آيريس كتبت ثروة تقدر بـ35 مليون جنيه إسترليني للصالح الجمعيات الخيرية، ما أصاب زوجها المصري بصدمة نفسية فور علمه بالخبر، وهو ما نفاه الشاب.
وأكد أن ما تم تداوله شائعات لا أساس لها من الصحة، قائلا: "هي بخير الحمد لله، ومفيش أي حاجة من اللي اتقالت حصلت". حسب صحيفة "الوطن" المصرية.
وأشار إلى أنه سيقاضي كل الأشخاص الذين شهروا به وبوفاة زوجته، مؤكدا أنها من الأمور التي لا يقبلها: "نفسي الناس تسيبنا في حالنا وتركز في شغلها وحياتها، ليه ينشروا خبر زي ده، إحنا عايشين ومش معانا المبلغ ده أصلا، لعب بمشاعر وأعصاب الناس، أمر غير مقبول".
