صحيفة المرصد: كشف متحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي أنه جرى استدعاء مئات الآلاف من جنود الاحتياط، في ظل الاشتباكات المتواصلة، لليوم الثالث.

وقال المتحدث باسم الجيش دانيال هغاري اليوم الاثنين إن الاشتباكات مع الفلسطينيين مستمرة في 6 مواقع بجنوب إسرائيل قرب الحدود مع قطاع غزة.

كما أضاف أن نحو 70 مقاتلا تسللوا أثناء الليل إلى مستوطنة بئيري، مؤكدا أن معظمهم قتلوا في اشتباكات مع الجيش الإسرائيلي لكن بقيتهم "ما زالوا يختبئون في منازل بالمستوطنة"، بحسب صحيفة تايمز أوف إسرائيل.

خدمة الاحتياط

في عام 1984 نشأ نظام خدمة الاحتياط الإسرائيلي، وبموجبه كل إسرائيلي ملزم بعد تسريحه من الخدمة الإلزامية بأن يلتحق بقوات الاحتياط ما لم يحصل على إعفاء.

الهدف من النظام

ويهدف نظام الاحتياط لتعزيز الجيش في أوقات الطوارئ بحريا وبريا وجويا حيث يتكون من نحو 456 ألف جندي، أي ضعف الجنود الإسرائيليين الموجودين في الخدمة الإلزامية.

هذه الوحدات تتلخص في تنفيذ مختلف العمليات الأمنية والعسكرية وتتمتع بقدرات قتالية اكتسبت خلال الخدمة أو ضمن تدريبات إلزامية سنوية.

فيما يتلقى جنود الاحتياط رواتب وتعويضات لهم ولأسرهم بموجب القانون وهي قوات جاهزة دوما لكنها لا تقوم بخدمة يومية.
