صحيفة المرصد: علق أستاذ القانون الدولي العام والأمين العام للجنة الدولية للدفاع عن الموارد المائية الدكتور محمد مهران، على فشل الجولة الرابعة من مفاوضات سد النهضة بين مصر والسودان وإثيوبيا، وإمكانية لجوء مصر إلى الخيار العسكري.


وقال : إن "سلوك إثيوبيا غير القانوني وتهاون المجتمع الدولي أدى إلى الوصول لهذه المرحلة الحرجة والخطيرة التي تهدد أمن مصر المائي، بما يفرض عليها اللجوء لحقها المشروع في الدفاع عن نفسها" حسب روسيا اليوم.


وتابع: "من حق مصر المشروع في الدفاع عن أمنها المائي وفقا للمادة 51 من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، والتي تنص على أنه ليس في هذا الميثاق ما يضعف أو ينتقص الحق الطبيعي للدول فرادى أو جماعات في الدفاع عن أنفسهم إذا اعتدت قوة مسلحة على أحد أعضاء الأمم المتحدة".


وأضاف: " مصر تمتلك الحق المشروع في الدفاع عن نفسها باعتبار أن أمنها المائي القومي مهدد بالخطر الداهم جراء إنشاء سد النهضة وتشغيله دون اتفاق يحفظ حقوق دولتي المصب، محذرا "أياً كانت النتائج".
