صحيفة المرصد: كشفت صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز" الأميركية أن الجيش الإسرائيلي "لم تكن لديه خطة" للتعامل مع هجوم حماس المفاجئ، يوم 7 أكتوبر الماضي.

غياب الخطة

وأجرت "نيويورك تايمز" تحقيقا بشأن أحداث السابع من أكتوبر، من خلال مقابلات مع مسؤولين حاليين وسابقين.

وخلصت الصحيفة إلى أن "الجيش الإسرائيلي لم تكن لديه خطة للتعامل مع هجوم حماس الضخم

هجوم مفاجئ

ونقلت عن النائب السابق لرئيس فرقة غزة في الجيش الإسرائيلي أمير أفيفي، قوله: "لم تكن هناك خطة دفاعية لهجوم مفاجئ".

من جهة أخرى، ذكر مستشار الأمن القومي السابق ياكوف عميدرو، أن "الجيش لا يعد نفسه لأشياء يعتقد أنها مستحيلة".

فشل في فهم حجم الهجوم

وأوضحت الصحيفة الأميركية أن الجيش "فشل لساعات طويلة في فهم حجم الهجوم وفي حماية حياة الإسرائيليين، وكان رده بطيئا وغير فعال، وأرسل فرقا صغيرة جدا وغير مجهزة للتعامل مع هجوم جماعي".

ووجد التحقيق أن "الجيش كان يعاني نقصا في عدد الأفراد وسوءا في التنظيم، لدرجة أن الجنود تواصلوا في مجموعات على تطبيق (واتساب) و(تلغرام) واعتمدوا على منشورات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لاستهداف المهاجمين".
