صحيفة المرصد: روى المنشد فهد مطر، قصة تحوله من إمام مسجد وحافظ للقرآن إلى الغناء، مشيرا إلى َ أنه لم يندم على أي مرحلة في عمره.
وقال خلال لقاء له مع برنامج الصياهد المذاع على قناة الصحراء :"الإنسان دائما مطلع، أنت عندما تكون في بيئة ولم تتعلم وتكون مستمر في هذه البيئة لن تتغير ولن تتجدد ولكن عندما تنتقل إلى بيئة أخرى علمية تستفيد منها أكثر راح تكون مختلف عن ماضيك".
وتابع:" الصح أن يتجدد الإنسان، ولذلك وجهات النظر في أي شيء فيه أخذ ورد، لا تقاتل من أجله، وقد يغير الشخص وجهة نظره، فالموضوع فيه سعة ولكن نحن ضيقنا على أنفسنا".
وأضاف:" لم أندم على أي مرحلة من مراحل عمري، أرى أنه في مرحلة تعلمت ورفعت الجهل عن نفسي، وفي مرحلة أطلعت أكثر، ومرحلة صار لدي تنوع".
