الجيش الإسرائيلي يكشف المدة المتوقعة لاستمرار الحرب ضد حماس في غزة خلال الفترة القادمة

صحيفة المرصد- وكالات : قال متحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي ليل الأحد إنّ الحرب بين إسرائيل وحركة حماس في قطاع غزة ستستمر "طيلة" العام 2024.
وأوضح دانيال هاغاري "على الجيش الإسرائيلي أن يضع مخططاته مسبقا لأنه سيُطلب منّا تنفيذ مهام ومعارك إضافية طيلة هذه السنة".
وشدّد على الحاجة المستقبلية إلى عشرات الآلاف من جنود الاحتياط الإسرائيليين لمواصلة القتال، إلا أنّ عددا منهم سيأخذ فترة استراحة من الحرب للاستعداد "لعمليات قتالية مطولة".
وأكد هاغاري أن "بعض جنود الاحتياط سيعودون إلى عائلاتهم ووظائفهم خلال هذا الأسبوع"، ما "سيمكّنهم من استعادة قواهم للمشاركة في الأنشطة المستقبلية خلال العام المقبل".
وأشار إلى أنّ الجيش يخطط لنشر قواته في الأشهر المقبلة.
