وشارك علاء مبارك مقطع فيديو للإعلامية المصرية وثق تغطيتها الإعلامية لعودة الرئيس مبارك من العلاج في ألمانيا، ردا على تصريحات للحديدي انتقدت فيها فترة حكم الرئيس الأسبق، قائلا:"ذو الوجهين حديثَهُم شيء وحقِيقتهُم شيءٍ آخر".

الجدير بالذكر تداولت وسائل إعلام فيديو شنت فيه الإعلامية لميس الحديدي هجوما على فترة حكم الرئيس الأسبق حسني مبارك.
