صحيفة المرصد: قال استشاري جراحة الأطفال بمركز تصحيح الجنس في جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز الدكتور ياسر جمال: إن تصحيح الجنس جائز شرعًا، وتغييره محرم.


تصحيح الجنس
وقال خلال مداخلة مع قناة "الإخبارية": " تصحيح الجنس هو تصحيح الخلل الجسدي وليس العكس، وهو تصحيح من وضع غير صحيح إلى وضع سليم". مشيرًا إلى أنه أول من أدخل مفهوم تصحيح الجنس منذ 30 عامًا.

وتابع: " تصحيح الجنس يعتمد في المقام الأول على مستوى الكروموسومات سواء كان لدى الشخص مبيض أو خصية، وفي حالة الخصية هل تفزر هرمونات تعطي الوضع الظاهر ذكورة".


الفحوصات
وأكمل: "أي خلل في المستويات يؤدي إلى تنشئة الولد وكأنه بنت والعكس، ولكن الاختبارات والفحوصات الكاملة هي التي تحدد الجنس الصحيح وليس بالنظر، وبغض النظر عن شكله الظاهري".


اختلاط الجنس
وحول المسببات الرئيسة لمشكلة "اختلاط الجنس"، أشار إلى أن أكبر مشكلة تكون الناحية الوراثية؛ حيث يكون الجين موجودًا في العائلة، ويتزوجون من بعضهم لتقوية هذا الجين لتظهر مشكلة اختلاط الجنس؛ فالوراثة أكبر سبب ثم الأغذية ثم الأدوية الهرمونية.
