"استشاري" يكشف عن استخدام فتاة عشرينية قطرة الكورتيزون .. وبعد 6 سنوات كانت الصدمة

صحيفة المرصد: كشف استشاري طب وجراحة العيون الدكتور مهند القرشي عن فقدان فتاة ل "بصرها"، بسبب استخدام قطرة الكورتيزون لمدة 6 سنوات بدون وصفة.


قطرة
وقال خلال تغريدة نشرها عبر حسابه على منصة إكس: "زارتني يوم الخميس مريضة في العشرين من عمرها فقدت النظر في عينيها بسبب استخدام قطرة الكورتيزون لمدة 6 سنوات بدون وصفة". مشيرا إلى أنها كانت تعتقد أنها قطرة معقمة.


آثار جانبية
وأوضح أن من أهم الآثار الجانبية لقطرات الكورتيزون:" ظهور أو تطور الماء الأبيض،
وارتفاع ضغط العين الماء الأزرق أو الجلوكوما)، وزيادة فرصة الإصابة بالالتهابات البكتيرية والفيروسية".
وتابع: "تحدث هذه الآثار الجانبية فى حال استخدام قطرات الكورتيزون بدون إشراف الطبيب خاصة لو استخدمت لفترات طويلة، وقد تحدث بعض الآثار الجانبية حتى عند استخدامها تحت إشراف الطبيب، ولكن يكون ذلك غالبا للحاجة لاستخدامها وعدم وجود بديل أكثر أمانا، وإذا كانت الفائدة من استخدامها في تلك الحالة أكثر من ضررها".
