صحيفة المرصد: أكد وزير الخارجية اللبناني في حكومة تصريف الأعمال عبدالله بو حبيب، إن الحكومة اللبنانية لا تريد الحرب ولا التورط فيها ولكنهم سيدعمون حزب الله ضد ‎إسرائيل، في حال اندلاع الحرب. 



وقال خلال مقابلة مع " cnn": " أعتقد أنه إذا اندلعت حرب، فإن الضرر والدمار سيكونان للجانبين، ولن يكون حزب الله فقط، ولن نتورط في الحرب كلبنانيين، لكن إذا كانت هناك حرب فإننا ندعم حزب الله بالتأكيد، ليس بسبب الاعتقادات ولكن بسبب الهجوم على بلدنا، نحن ندعم حزب الله في هذا الصدد". 


وتابع: " لن يكون حزب الله وحده سيقف معه الحوثيين والميليشيات العراقية، والميليشيات في سوريا من غير السوريين، والميليشيات الباكستانية والأفغانية". مشيرا إلى أن الحرب ضد لبنان هي حرب إقليمية، لن تكون حربًا بين حزب الله ضد إسرائيل، وحزب الله ليس حماس أيضًا إنه أكثر من حماس.


وأضاف وزير الخارجية: إسرائيل كانت تهدد منذ اليوم الأول للأزمة، منذ 10 أشهر، بأنهم يريدون إعادة لبنان إلى العصر الحجري. سيعودون هم إلى العصر الحجري أيضًا. ليس من قبل الحكومة اللبنانية، لا. لكنهم سيعودون. سيخلقون وضعًا غير سهل إذا غزوا لبنان.
