صحيفة المرصد - وكالات : أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، الخميس، مقتل قائد الوحدة الجوية في حزب الله محمد حسين سرور، في غارة على الضاحية الجنوبية للعاصمة اللبنانية بيروت.


وقال الجيش في بيان: "اليوم 26 سبتمبر 2024، وبتوجيه استخباراتي دقيق من سلاح الجو وشعبة المخابرات، هاجمت الطائرات المقاتلة مدينة بيروت وقتلت محمد حسين سرور، قائد الوحدة الجوية في منظمة حزب الله".



وأضاف: "قام سرور بترويج وتوجيه وقيادة العديد من الهجمات الجوية، بما في ذلك هجمات الطائرات بدون طيار وصواريخ كروز على إسرائيل".


وتابع البيان: "في السنوات الأخيرة، كان سرور أحد قادة مشاريع إنتاج الطائرات بدون طيار في لبنان، وأنشأ مواقع لتصنيع المتفجرات وتجميع المسيرات في لبنان، وكان بعضها يقع تحت مباني مدنية في العاصمة ومناطق أخرى في لبنان".


وأكمل: "انضم سرور إلى تنظيم حزب الله في الثمانينات وقام بأدوار متنوعة منها قائد وحدة صواريخ الأرض جو ووحدة "عزيز" في قوة الرضوان، خلال حرب السيوف الحديدية، قام بترويج وتنفيذ العديد من هجمات الطائرات بدون طيار، وتجميع العبوات الناسفة".
