صحيفة المرصد: ألقى الأمن العام في حمص بسوريا القبض على محمود شدود، المسؤول بفرع الأمن السياسي في المدينة، والذي كان مشرفاً على العملية الأمنية في حي بابا عمرو .

وقال مسؤول القاطع الجنوبي لمحافظة حمص محمد أبو جعفر، إن عملية ملاحقة المتهم بدأت بعد ورود أنباء كثيرة عن تورطه بجرائم ضد المدنيين في الحي أثناء حكم النظام السابق.

وأضاف، أقرّ المتهم بخطف متظاهرين وقتلهم وحرق جثّتهم والتنكيل بها ثم التواصل مع عائلات الضحايا وتهديدها بمزيد من الملاحقات، وتم تحويله إلى القضاء.
