صحيفة المرصد: تعرضت فتاة أمريكية تُدعى "كيتلين جنسن " ، لشلل جزئي وتلف بالأوعية الدموية والأعصاب ، بعدما خضعت لجلسة علاج يدوي لعلاج آلام أسفل الظهر .

وأوضحت صحيفة " نيويورك بوست " أنه خلال خضوع  كيتلين جنسن لجلسة علاج كيروبراكتيك (العلاج اليدوي) لعلاج آلام أسفل الظهر ، طلب منها المعالج إجراء تعديل على رقبتها بهدف محاذاة العمود الفقري عن طريق التفاف مفاجئ للرقبة لسحب الرأس. 


لكن النتيجة كانت صادمة، حيث أصبحت كيتلين عاجزة عن الحركة والكلام، وتعرضت لسكتات دماغية ونوبات قلبية متتالية، مما أدى إلى توقف نبضها لأكثر من عشر دقائق.


إصابة الفتاة بالشلل



وبعد الحادث، تركت الشابة مشلولة جزئيًا نتيجة لإصابة دماغية خطيرة ناجمة عن تمزق أربعة شرايين في رقبتها. هذه الحادثة تسببت في تلف شديد للأوعية الدموية والأعصاب، وأثارت قلق الخبراء حول مخاطر العلاج الكيروبراكتيك، خاصة في ما يتعلق بالتحريك القسري للعمود الفقري أو الرقبة.



تحذير الأطباء من العلاج اليدوي


وحذر الأطباء من استخدام هذا النوع من العلاجات اليدوية، حيث يمكن أن يؤدي إلى تمزقات في الأوعية الدموية وتلف الأعصاب، ما قد يتسبب في السكتات الدماغية أو الوفاة.
