صحيفة المرصد: نجح علماء أمريكيون من شركة كولوسال بيوساينسز في "إحياء" نوع منقرض من الذئاب"، وفقًا لتقارير بلومبرغ.

وقام العلماء بدمج جينات الذئب الرهيب، الذي انقرض منذ أكثر من 12,000 عام، مع بويضات ذئب رمادي، وزرعوها في كلاب كبيرة الحجم. من بين 45 جنينًا، لم ينجُ سوى ثلاثة - صغار ذئاب تُدعى رومولوس، وريموس، وخاليسي. هذه الذئاب أكبر حجمًا وأكثر عضلية من الذئاب الحديثة.

ويخطط العلماء بعد ذلك للعمل على إعادة إحياء الماموث إلى الحياة.
