ترجمة حصرية: كشفت أبحاث السرطان الجديدة التي أجراها مركز ميموريال سلون كيترينج في نيويورك، عن بديل قوي للعلاج الكيميائي والجراحة والإشعاع لبعض أنواع السرطان.

ووفقًا لدراسة جديدة نُشرت في مجلة نيو إنجلاند الطبية، نجح العلاج المناعي وحده في علاج ما يقرب من 80% من مرضى سرطان المستقيم المشاركين في التجربة.

سرطان المستقيم

ونجح بروتوكول العلاج المناعي في علاج 100% من مرضى سرطان المستقيم المشاركين في التجربة، وفق "فوكس نيوز".

خلايا السرطان

وصرحت منظمة ميموريال سلون كيترينج (MSK) أن هذا العلاج "يكشف" خلايا الورم، مما يُسهّل على جهاز المناعة لدى المريض التعرف على خلايا السرطان والقضاء عليها.

تجربة سريرية

وبدأت أول تجربة سريرية لاختبار العلاج على 18 مريضًا فقط، جميعهم مصابون بسرطان المستقيم.
